Correct management of your wrist pain involves accurate diagnosis by your doctor. Local muscle, joint or tendon injury can cause wrist pain. Neck joints or trapped nerves can also refer pain to the wrist.

The best known entrapment of nerves within the wrist is carpal tunnel syndrome. Carpal tunnel syndrome is the best known nerve entrapment of the wrist.

Carpal tunnel syndrome  is pressure on the median nerve. The median nerve runs along the inside of the carpal tunnel of the wrist. When pressure becomes high inside the carpal tunnel, numbness and pain begin as one of the first symptoms. Another symptom that is painful is pins and needles. This happens especially at night. Arthritis, pregnancy, and repetitive movements can irritate and increase swelling inside the wrist causing carpal tunnel syndrome.

Be sure to see your doctor for a proper diagnosis.

Sometimes the pain is too much to even think about exercising. Most people are directed to start taking a natural supplement that has proven to ease this pain.

It has been proven through research the supplement glucosamine can slow down or stop the progression of joint arthritis and relieve the pain of arthritis. Glucosamine can help both of these conditions. This has little or no side effects. .
