Soccer Injuries happends every game. Soccer is a sport by athletes of all ages. Soccer is not a sport that has too many severe injuries and most of the injuries that due occur are soft tissue injuries. It has been estimated that 50-80% of soccer injuries affect the feet and legs.40-45% of those injuries affect the ankles and foot pain occur.
Knee injuries make up 25% of leg injuries. The most common of these is the ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) injury. This is a severe injury that most likely will end a player’s season due to recovery and or surgery. Meniscus tears are second in knee injuries and can be as debilitating as ACL injuries.
Young soccer athletes can have Osgood-Schalatters Diseas. Which commonly causes knee pain. Sever’s disease also can affect young athletes and is a common source of heel pain.
Fractures can occur during traumatic impact with other players, goalposts or when falling, While not common Tibial Shaft Fractures represent the most severe trauma that can occur in the lower extremity
Head injuries make up about 4-22% of soccer injuries. Out of this percentage concussions make up 2-3%. These injuries mostly occur with collision with  other players, the ground, goalposts or the ball
Neck and shoulder pain can also occur from overuse or impact injuries. Whiplash has also been reported after the head clashes with another player or impact to the ground. Rotator Cuff injuries are common with goalkeepers do to the throwing in of the ball..
