Playing sports, running, falling, or having an accident can damage your legs. Common leg injuries include sprains and strains, joint dislocations, and fractures.

LEG

A very common complaint is leg injury or pain. The best treatment will result in an accurate diagnosis of the source of the pain. The treatment plan will be directed at the cause of the pain. Sports injuries, work injuries and everyday leg use can be a cause of leg pain.

An accurate diagnosis is vital to the correct management of your leg pain. Leg pain can be caused by local muscle, tendon or joint injury. Alternatively, leg pain can be referred from your lower back joints. Sciatica is a well-known source of referred leg pain.

When early treatment is introduced, leg injury and pain respond extremely well to sport therapy. Do not delay in consulting your sport therapist if you are experiencing leg pain. Leg pain that is neglected or not treated early can take months or even years to heal.
