Typically the injury associated with Acute Tennis Elbow is to the muscles that extend from the bony bump on the outside of the elbow to the wrist and fingers.
Symptoms that have lasted longer than 6 weeks would be considered sub-acute. After 3 months the pain is considered chronic.
