Major muscle groups of the thigh include Hamstrings, Quadriceps, ITB and Adductor muscles. Thigh pain or injury can originate from any of your thigh or buttock muscles, plus your hip and lower back joints. Posterior thigh pain is sometimes related to a condition known as Sciatica.

 

Thigh pain is very common. Occurrence of thigh pain is usually a result of  work injuries, sports injuries or everyday use of the leg.
