or injury can originate from any of your thigh or buttock muscles, plus your hip and lower back joints. Posterior thigh pain is sometimes related to a condition known as Sciatica.
Thigh pain is very common. Occurrence of thigh pain is usually a result of work injuries, sports injuries or everyday use of the leg.
Injury to the local muscle, joint or tendon can be the cause of thigh pain. Referred leg pain can sometimes be due to a sciatic condition. Referred leg pain can also originate from your lower back. It is important to have an accurate assessment of the cause of your thigh pain from your doctor and work with your sport therapist and your customized treatment plan to relieve your pain and begin to heal the injury
The response to your sport therapy treatment is favorable when you pursue early treatment of your pain and injury. Do not delay in treatment of your thigh pain.
