Client Conduct and Safety Policy

At Berks Medical Massage, we are committed to fostering a safe, professional, and respectful environment for both our clients and therapists. Our policies uphold the highest standards of care, professionalism, and integrity within our spa. We kindly ask all clients to respect these guidelines to help maintain a comfortable and secure atmosphere.

Our therapists are skilled professionals dedicated to providing therapeutic services within strict professional boundaries. Any form of inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to sexual advances, suggestive comments, or inappropriate touch, will not be tolerated. If a therapist feels uncomfortable due to a client’s behavior, they are authorized to end the session immediately. 

Following an incident, the client will be flagged in our system for inappropriate conduct and will be permanently barred from returning to Berks Medical Massage. We reserve the right to refuse service to any client whose behavior compromises the comfort, safety, or well-being of our staff.

We are committed to treating every client with respect and dignity, and we expect the same consideration toward our therapists. Any disrespectful or aggressive behavior toward our staff will result in the immediate termination of service and may lead to the client being banned from future appointments.

The safety of our therapists is paramount. All staff members are trained to recognize and respond to any form of harassment, and we have established procedures to ensure a prompt response to any situation that threatens their safety or well-being. For additional security, our treatment rooms may be monitored for safety purposes, in compliance with privacy regulations, to protect both clients and staff.

We request at least 24-hour notice for cancellations to allow us to serve other clients effectively. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as no-shows, may incur a fee. Repeat cancellations or no-shows may result in restrictions on future booking privileges.

We do not accept direct insurance payments. However, we do accept HSA cards and can provide an itemized receipt upon request, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. A 4% fee will apply to all credit card payments. Clients can avoid this fee by choosing to pay with cash.
